Yes I understand that and that's what I tried. I was able to plan one that way too but then I didn't get an endless loading it just didn't happen.

With §0, if I go to Phone > Social > Plan a Social Event, I'm not able plan a wedding or any other event. If I go to Phone > Social > Plan a Wedding Event, it will open up the "Start an Event" menu for a wedding, and that's were I'm able to do all the steps in my original post which leads to an infinite loading screen.

There's def something off as you shouldn't be able to even plan it with not enough money but I couldn't dupe the endless loading.
Did you test other social events ?
Putting this on review.

- It didn't work in a new game folder without mods. I tested it by doing the following:
- Renamed my "The Sims 4" folder in "Documents\Electronic Arts" to "The Sims 4 Backup".
- I ran the game to let it generate a new "The Sims 4" folder.
- The platform is PC (Steam). I also "verified the integrity of game files" and there wasn't anything missing.
- The endless loading happens after selecting "Done" in the steps I previously posted. If I do the same, except with §1000, then it loads the wedding.

Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)
- At which point do you get the endless loading ? I tested this and while I do have the option, the wedding doesn't actually get planned for me and I don't have endless loading.
