[MWS] X to end wedding events is invisible/ Getaway icon instead of wedding

I planned a super simple vow renewal for two of my sims, knowing how buggy My Wedding Stories can be. No guests, and just Spousal Kiss and Vow Exchange for required activities. No timer showed up at the beginning of the wedding. The tasks marked off as completed but there is still no option to end the event. I have no mods or CC and never have, so it must be a vanilla issue. I couldn't find any other posts with this specific issue posted on here, but please let me know if there's another report like this so I can go vote for that one instead as I'm sure that would be more efficient.

Sorry for polish screen, but:
When you start wedding event from game pack My Wedding Stories, after last EP it show as "gateway" UI.
Generally task work well but... event never end and  button to stop event dont' work . My sim are trapped on public lot.
Tested without mods

I tried hosting a Customized Wedding at the wedding venue in Tartosa. There were no getaways running. There WAS a Seasons holiday running (Prank Day), which I cancelled during the Wedding event.

I noticed the Wedding Ceremony had the Getaway icon, but I couldn't end the event and the wedding tasks all disappeared (see screenshot).

I saved and exited. When I restarted, the tasks were back but the icon was still the Getaway icon, and I couldn't end the event early.

Thankfully the wedding FINALLY ended by itself at 4am.

When a wedding event begins, it has the Getaway UI in the top left. This means there's no timer counting down the few hours of the event, so it never ends. My sims are unable to leave the lot or force quit the event. Switching control to an off-lot sim will allow me to bring my sims home from the wedding event, but the game doesn't count it as completed. Since you can only schedule one wedding event at a time and they are never counted as finished, I can't do more than one wedding event per household.

Gave this a short test myself and can kinda dupe with the pack.

If I hover OVER the corner the X appears and I can cancle it. Don't think wedding events ever had timers ? You just end them whenever you're done

So it seems the icon is wrong and the x has gone invisible

No mods. Guests do not wear formal attire.

alexanderfels​ Dannirossb​ Always good to assume first that your issue is mods. Start at Previously Broken mods and CC and the current Broken and Updated Mods and CC list. Any time there's a game patch, a mod that was fine before can be not fine now.

-  Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
