My sims recently had this baby, when she aged up, I tried to go and fix her up a bit but once I got into the closet it said she was a newborn again. So, I went back and saw that most of the items I had added or deleted were either gone or back again. The child wasn't aging up, and the days had gone from Sunday to Wednesday even though she gave birth on Sunday and before the glitch it hadn't gone to a different day. When she finally changed into an infant, she looked completely different from both of her parents, so I wanted to change her hair color and things like that. When I came back neither of them could feed her or anything it was like they never knew her. All that pops up is that they don't know where her parents are yet in their little emotion bubbles it still shows they are happy for a new baby in the house. I reset my computer multiple times, deleted recent mods. and even tried to play without any but the problem never fixed itself.

Is this this save that you have issues or also a new one with no mods/cc ?
I even tried deletion and reinstallation but that might have made it worse.
Before I saw this comment, I tried to go back into the game to see if it went back to normal but now, I'm stuck on the loading page, and it won't let me leave it at all. So, I don't really know how to start trying to fix it.
Please follow these steps to test your game on vanilla game with no mods/cc
- Create a backup of your save game
- Move your mods folder to the desktop
- Delete the following files from your user folder.
- localthumbcache
- Any lastException Files
- Any LastCrash files. - Test your save (you will loose all cc on the save but since you created a backup you can go back to that afterwards) and see if the same error occurs, then report back.
Simply removing all mods might not work though so do you have a backup from before it all happened ? It's hard to tell if this happened because of mods or because of a game issue if you had mods in at the time of the issue.,
