I have fired her several times as the kids are all older now. But every day she shows back up. I have had the dad who originally hired her fire her, the mom, and even the teen daughter. Next thing you know there the nanny is being a pain in the butt by making to much food and interrupting the teens/kids skill time.

This also happened to me - cancelling the service, dismissing her, firing her, going to a different lot and coming back didn't work.
Looking at some Reddit posts from about 4 years ago, someone mentioned that they had the Free Services perk which I also had - maybe this is causing the problem? I ended up splitting my household and moving my sim that hadn't done the hiring to a new location to fix it,
I don't usually use nannies because they'll often cause problems when trying to meet children's needs, but decided to use one while I was trying to run my small business. It was ok to begin with, but became a problem after a few days and then I found I couldn't get rid of them. I also had a butler, cleaner and gardener coming on free services.
I have the same issue. I added the nanny to my family and moved her out again the next day 5 nannies turned up!
Same! I a dded the nanny to the house and killed her off. (rip nanny) and then a whole bunch of nannies showed up. Thankfully I have the free services trait. I ended up bulldozing the house and rebuilding and it seems to have fixed itself.
They just keep coming!
I've tried firing my home gardening service through the phone and by clicking on the gardener, however they still come back the next day. Plus, clicking on the gardener doesn't give me an option to fire them

So I got the ranch hand and everything is great till my sim gets pregnant. Now they keep destroying the kids stuff and no matter how many times I fire them it won't stick! They don't leave, they keep destroying things and even stay all night so I can't extra fast time the night. PLS FIX seriously this is a nasty bug especially for a paid expansion.
This is on PlayStation and is a constant across all households. Also sometimes happens to the nanny. Noticed February 2025 reported May 2025.
