Having the same issue on PS5, both the business careers have been stuck on level 8 giving me raises instead of promotions.
Stuff like this makes me take breaks from the game, a few months later I think "ill try the sims out. I'll buy a new pack to freshen things up." Only to boot the game up and be confronted with more bugs as well as the old bugs.
I wouldn't mind so much if I hadn't spent hundreds of pounds on this game already!
