My sim has the same problem. My sim wanted to reach level 10 of the new apothecary career for the aspirations. But she ended up at level 9 +2,so two raise increases. Cheating to level 10 is possible.
Her traits are foodie, non-commitical, loves the outdoors, fairy influence and quick learner. (she has to aspiration bonus traits through the long existing bug for cas.Fulleditmode. I did not cheat this) She also picked up : delightfully discordant, happily harmonious, into everdew, nature's best bud, holistic healer, now you gnome . NO entrepreneurial trait. She never had another job before and was created as a young adult in CAS.
She is also a fairy.
