No science baby

I purchased a science baby on sims 4, when my sim went to go to the hospital, she stopped to repair the coffee maker. The money was deducted but no baby arrived.

During which scenario is this ? Do you have the same if you don't play a scenario ?

Did the Sim ever go or did the coffee maker repair make the interaction drop ?
