Hello, maybe I’m doing something wrong, but I never get paid for mentoring after new update. Is new interraction and its not working… Maybe someone has also encountered this problem?

Isn't the getting paid a thing from the pack ? Did they say you can also get paid in base ?
Do you have an actual interaction to get paid ? Didn't have a chance to play yet.
EDIT: OK. I see what you mean. I think the option shouldn't show up without the new pack so it's a bug either way.

Hello, I too have this bug where paid mentorship doesn't work. I also thought it was meant to be for the new pack and was mistakenly added to the base game. But if that's the case, why does this feature get mentioned in the Mentoring part of the live mode Lessons in the base game? Could it actually be meant for the base game but is currently bugged?
I think so, yes.
In addition to that, the new 'Super Mentor' reward trait (that replaced the original Mentor reward trait) is also in base game and it mentions 'earning more simoleons with paid mentoring'.
I think it is actually base game functionality
I don't know if it's supposed to be available or not, but I have been able to do it since before the expansion pack - possibly since the last patch. I don't recall if my Sim got paid or not, but I did also experience the Sim I was mentoring being stuck playing chess until they passed out lol.
The exact thing happened to me! I was like “Ok you can stop now…. I think you learned enough”😅
