I've noticed that in some aspirations that require events, like "Make 3 drinks at a single social event" or "cook 3 gourmet dishes at a single event" will progress when I'm not at or hosting one. Just doing regular day things.
I'm not sure why and I don't think it's a big thing, but it defeats the purpose of having a specific event to achieve the goal
