Recently, I've seen a 'bug' where my infant and toddler sim's eye colours will keep swapping from occult colours ton regular non-occult colours when changing their clothes. I haven't tested it...
Ideas
How did you remove your mods/cc ? Did you move your mods folder to the desktop and delete the cache files and then change the eye color again to see if they then stick ?
Are the infant/toddlers offsprings of are they completely human infants/toddlers ?
Also does it happen when you change clothing in CAS or also if they just switch outfits ?

I removed my MODs from the folder for the update last Tuesday, deleted the cache etc, and then played without MODs after the update. The eye colour thing happened then too. I have since put my MODs back in and it's still happening.
One infant is an adopted human sim, another one is a spellcaster, and the last is a rebirthed fairy (but the infant isn't s fairy).
It seems to happen when changing clothes, swapping between clothes categories (accessories, tops, trousers etc), and swapping outfit categories (everyday, sleepwear etc)
