occult to occult change livemode gameplay bug?
(I can't find a duplicate of this so maybe this hasn't been reported already. Please merge if I missed it.)
Put simply the issue happens when an occult dies with Life and Death DLC installed because the mermaid/spellcaster/vampire/werewolf etc need bars and points in the Simology panel become ghost needs and points and I have ended up with a sim retaining vampire/werewolf point gaining actions to the degree that the game has them as a ghost but seems to have not changed their occult status fully(?) but the most shocking aspect is when trying to revert them to alive status through general live mode means it can affect the way they look if they have a second form.
Similarly abeit not related to Life and death specifically I've also had a spellcaster turn into a werewolf by swimming in the the lake at Moonwood Mill only for their transformation to happen as they have not fully left teh water, so when they transform it's like they leave a glitched version of themselves stuck on the lake shore then the model visibly stretches like a rubber band across the environment as the "next" character model the werewolf form Ferociously runs somewhere mid rage.
(Same bug but different activation method?)
Somewhat kicking myself I didn't save a scrn cap or keep that save file because this happened way before I started this forum account and at the time I just laughed off the eldritch absurdity and "reset" the Sim with cas.fulleditmode... better late than never to say something though right? 🤣
