Paintings go white after putting them in inventory/Reloading game (1.119.109)

This is happening to me as well. Very frustrating. My sim just painted her first masterpiece and this is what it looks like when I go to hang it on the wall. This was a "paint from reference" painting. So is the other blank one next to it. They show up as blank when in her inventory as well. But the "Impressionism" painting she painted displays normally.

She's also a mermaid. So I'm thinking I'm going to next have her do a paint from reference painting of all the mermaids bobbing out in the water without their tails.
