I am really getting frustrated that this issues seems to be completely ignored by the Sims team. I'm hoping that adding one more comment might help draw attention to it. But I really miss being able to paint by reference (and I miss the paint by reference mod that allowed you to change the filter of the painting). It has deterred me from wanting to play the game honestly. I'm so afraid of losing all my paintings and photos and I feel really disappointed.
