Paintings go white after putting them in inventory/Reloading game (1.119.109)

Was hoping they fixed this too with patch 1.119.109 but nope. Reposting from the old thread here:

The blank Paint by Reference Canvas is very easy reproducible since 1.117.227 (maybe even before that):

1) Use Paint from Reference to paint a new Painting.
2) After the Sim finishes it, move the Painting into the Sims Inventory.
3) From there move it out and on a Wall = White Painting.
4) Drag it to another part of the Wall, Painting is ok again.
5) Save, exit to Main Menu, reload and Painting is White again. Even moving it around the Wall does not fix it as it seems.

Hope this will get fixed asap.

EDIT: I have all Packs except the last Make Up Kit, in case that is important.

When you finish a Reference Painting and drag it from your inventory to a wall, the canvas appears blank. After trying to move it again, the painting reappears on the frame. However, when you exit the game and enter again, there is no way to restore them.

I am still having this issue... everytime i use paint by reference my paintings go blank after i save and than reload the file.

It's on their "Laundry List" so it should be fixed in the next big update. But it hasn't been fixed yet.

Paint by Reference Paintings will no longer turn white after they’ve been put in a Sim’s inventory and the game has been relaunched. This fix is retroactive and should be fixed in previous saves where it occurred.

Fixed in Patch 1.120.140/ 2.26
