Edit: this issue was 1st reported 6 years ago ( looked at the archived file) and still no solution has occured, that I am aware of.
Orginal post: I just found this today while looking for anything related to the science career that is similiar to the issue I just found with the Science career/Get to Work. I am pretty livid now!!!
When I played the science career over 4 yrs ago, I cloned my sim in the lab per the science career daily work goals, over 4 yrs ago, I had the same issue! My then married couple became siblings!! With children already! I had cc in that game that. ------ I was told it corrupted my game and this was why this issue happened!! Imagine how I feel now?!?!? 😱
They talked me through deleting everything including the (at the time, Origin platform) and helped me get everything reinstalled 100% clean with not CC or MOD. Hence my attitude about cc and mod.
I have been playing it the last couple of weeks for the 1st time in 4 yrs but with a 100% virgin game after losing the previous 4 years of game play.
My point: when it came up to clone my sim, I didn't do it!!!! I refused to because I recalled what happened before and just didn't feel it necessary to do so. It was a nightmare back then and a nightmare I opted to skip. I am now 100% grateful I did not, but now clearly disturbed that I lost 4 yrs of my game play back then for something that is still occurring today!!!!!
This makes sense because this is happening to one of my Sims, and she is in the scientist career. She also cloned herself, and now this issue is happening to her and her entire household.
