Partnered Sims turn into siblings

I found a workaround; however, you need to download both MCCC and Weerbesu's UI cheat (this will allow you to right-click and add/delete bits). First, you'll select spouse 1. The MCCC should be listed on the first pie menu. Scroll to the bottom until you see 'relationships.' Click it, then select 'Delete relationship.' It will display a box containing every sim known to the clicked sim. You will delete all affected relationships, including spouses, siblings, parents (if any), and siblings of your sim's spouse. Additionally, please ensure that any children and grandchildren are also highlighted. Next, click the checkbox to remove all of your relationships with the Sims you've chosen. You can confirm that this sim no longer has any family by going to the Simology screen and clicking the genealogy button. Now comes the fun part! You must click this sim again, then MCCC, scroll back down to 'relationships,' and add the sims you want to be married, related, and so on. After you've sorted everything out, go to the relationships tab, open each profile for your newly added family member, and make sure the relationship tab includes whatever bit you decided. If the bit hasn't already been added, simply right-click and scroll through the bits until you find the one you want to add to this sim's profile. Then do the same for spouse 2. It may seem like a lot, but this is the only solution I've found after days of searching the internet with no success.
