After adopting a child, I noticed my sims could no longer interact romantically. I clicked on their relationship and it said they were siblings. One mom had an aunt/niece relationship with the adopted baby. When I clicked on the family tree, my sim and her partner were half-siblings sharing one parent, which is not true.
