See my earlier post that I fixed this by deleting one sim in the relationship and downloading a copy that I then could add on the proper love relationship. HOWEVER, the bug reappears after I went into CAS with the new couple. As soon as I exit CAS they are back to being brothers. I can't roll this save back, either, as I don't have an early enough copy. I also want to mention, having read other comments that this did also appear after I had used skillful sleep the first time, but I'm not sure honestly if it happened directly after. I see from comments that the only way to avoid the bug reappearing is to add the sim to another unrelated household anytime you want to use CAS and then transfer them back. So I guess I have to do that? This is super annoying!
