Partnered Sims turn into siblings

All of my sims that seem impacted by this also have had and used skillful sleep. 

But it's only been recently that the trait seems to have broken them. Before, I had a sim who had it, used it, and I had no issues with him and his husband ... But now, the last 3 sims I've had with it always end up having their spouses turn into siblings and it's unfixable. 

One of my sims died so, I guess that fixed that couples problems :/ but my other sim, I moved the entire family into a new save - the version of them I had was forever broken though, bc my sim could not register his spouse as his spouse even fresh from my gallery. It's like they're broken on a deeper level within the sims coding. Save files don't matter. The sim them self is the problem. 

I had to revert to an older saved version of my sim, and that worked for like a week. But he had the Skillful sleep trait still, I removed it right away in game before even playing.... But when his son aged up and I went into CAS to make him over, now my sim and his husband are siblings again. 

So even having ever had the trait on your sim, even deleting it in a new save, seems to stick and forever break your sim. I'm sure the older version had used the trait before I saved him, but it's still messed up that a sim, even when newly placed in a fresh save is so deeply broken that you can never use them again. Removing the trait, starting over, etc, won't fix anything bc the coding is so broken so deep underneath that the sim them self is the problem :(
