Update, please let me know if anyone else has the same - as I have described before, the issue affects only if I try to change one of the partnered sims, regardless if she is in the household with the rest of the family or not. I can change all of the other members of the household as long as she is not here and they don't become siblings. I have played the save further from the point before they became siblings and I have found out I also cannot sell or move anything from the affected sims' inventory - she can place the things in the world, she can eat an apple from her inventory, but she cannot sell them.
They are searching for save files before this bug happened so it could help if you would sent them your save files. (I got this information from their official website. Just search for "Laundry List: Upcoming Bug Fixes - Jan 6, 2026" on ea.com).
