After moving households, my two married sims turned into half-sisters. It shows on their family tree that they share an unknown parent (neither sim has parents in-game). I didn't notice until I tried to do a romantic interaction and when they weren't available I checked their relationship which says they are soulmates and half-sisters. Gross. I also have no mods/cc downloaded.
