This bug is so insanely game breaking and so frustrating to fix. This has been an issue before the update, I play on a pc and a laptop transferring the save file between the two depending if I'm travelling. On one of them I have not updated my game yet and I'm having this issue with both before and after the updated family tree.
I'm having to comb through my save file trying to fix this mess, and I have a lot of multi-gen families in one save.
Upon further testing it seems to break when I hop in and out of CAS and Managing households.
