Partnered Sims turn into siblings

I mean this couple literally can't Romance anymore.  They have been happily married for a long time but since the update the option for Romance doesn't show up in their menu anymore.  I noticed that they can romance other sims just fine but they don't have the option with each other.

They are still completely friends but the Romance has gone and I can't figure out how to get it back.  They can Woo-Hoo and all that but nothing else.

I know this issue came up before after Royalty and Legacies was released, whereby spouses became siblings. Well, since the patch on 17 March, it sort of corrected the problem. Unfortunately, my Sims are no longer siblings, but now their parents are siblings, meaning that they are cousins. I need a solution to be able to edit or delete these relationships, so that my Sims can a married couple again. I have used tried both full edit CAS and mods, but nothing can correct this error. I even tried to fully remove the Sim from the game (deleting them). I'm worried that I'm going to have to fully delete every member of the family tree (which is huge) and start over. Please, tell me that there is a fix or that another patch is coming to address this.

FlamingoKicker​ Take a look at their relationship status in both the relationship profile and CAS to see if something has changed.  My first thought was that the current issue with married couples being changed to siblings, but your sims can still woohoo.  Something similar may have happened though.  Here is the link to that report.  Please read it to see if it is what you have going on.

Actually they can't Woo-Hoo thru Romance but I have an adult mod which I can't name here  so maybe they have some thing that allows siblings to get it on  I will have to check them out in CAS.  Sounds like you have something there because they do act more like brother and sister.

Yes,  you got it right.  They are listed as brother and sister so that wasn't hard to fix.  I hope they could test these things before rolling an update out into the wild and causing us so many headaches.  Thanks

I have issues with romance interactions in my save file. My sims are engaged but I only have the option to engage in the "offer massage" interaction. I'm not able to see the flirt, affection, or any other physical intimacy options. It's literally that one option. I have no mods installed in my game and I repaired all the game files but I still have this issue. I've tried editing their relationships in CAS but I only have the options for Household Member or Engaged. These issues started before the recent patch too. It's exclusive to this save file so I don't know what the issue is.

could you check in the profile of the other Sim if they have a sibling relationship bit ?

I just did that and apparently it was altered for them to be half siblings but also engaged? I have no clue how to fix this because CAS doesn't allow me to delete their relationship

My sims couple are now marked as siblings. 

Apparently this ONLY happens to same-sex couples who have adopted (?!) and has been a thing since early Feb... And I feel like I've tried everything. 

But because they are showing up in the family tree now as having the same parents (even though one of the two sims is created by EA and came with Lovestruck and had no pre-made parents), nothing works.

I've tried removing the relationship with MCCC, removing them as siblings in MCCC (there's no option to do this) creating separate parents for the Lovestruck sim (which DID do something... It made the couple COUSINS)... Deleting the sims from the household and re-placing them into the family from my Library, changing the relationship in CAS full edit mode (it's greyed out)... But the sibling (or cousin) relationship will not budge. 

Is there anything that works that I haven't tried (that doesn't involve starting over, deleting and re-adding them, or using MCCC?!) I've played this save for years and am generations in. I don't want to have to wipe it clean!
