Partnered Sims turn into siblings

After two of my sims got married they became siblings as well as spouses in the family tree, sharing a mother. I was unable to edit their relationship even with cas full edit mode on. Please help!!

Still an issue. My sim married Caleb and has two children with him. Kids went to school. Sim and Caleb were just wasting the day away until the kids come back from school, they were outside talking to Juniper. Caleb apparently flirted with Juniper and made my Sim jealous and then somehow they are now brothers. Literally nothing else happened leading up to this. I'm scared to save my game because I don't want them to be stuck as brothers, but I can't remember how much gameplay I will lose if I don't save.

I have been playing this save for 6+ months, my same sex couple sims have 3 kids together and one day after logging in after the new update my married sims are showing as both spouses and sisters…..which is really not okay. Nothing I have tried has fixed the situation, and being on console I unfortunately can’t even turn to MCCC for help. Is there any way to fix this problem???

Ever since I bought the Small Business back when it came out my game has been glitching so much. No matter what I do my married sims keep becoming siblings. It’s triggered out of nowhere. One minute my sims could be woohooing in the sky (fairy pack) and the next second their siblings. I’ve played lineages and then loose everything. This is becoming such a problem that I’m rethinking playing these games and getting refund on a pack I just preordered how can I play if I the game keeps glitching. 

I feel your pain so much, I posted about this here a couple months ago when the same thing happened to me, only I hadn't been playing my save as long as yours.  

I also tried all EA fixes and everything other people suggested and nothings fixed it.  It does often seem to be tied to skillful sleep, I will never give any same sex couples I play with that mastery perk, but it's not always tied to that.

It's frustrating EA doesn't even seem to be looking at the problem, I hope more people provide their save files, as well as vote on this issue!

Now I'm nervous about playing with any same sex couples, which is extra frustrating since that would be representative of myself, and representation is one of the reasons I play this game.  

EA needs to do better!!

In my game, my married couple somehow became labeled as sisters and were unable to have romantic interactions. I do not have mods installed and cannot figure out a way to fix this. Essentially my family is broken, this is very sad because I have spent a long time in this save file only playing these sims. Please help me fix this!

OMG I’m having this issue and apparently they are both married and siblings according to the family tree? Yet in CAS they are spouses.

I have two male sims that are married and adopted a  toddler and when I selected “become care dependent” that made them become brothers. I saw this when they could not do any romantic interactions. I tried to restart my game and repair it and it didn’t work. Only one of the sims had parents and when I checked the family tree his spouse was also his brother. I removed all the relationships for the parentless sims using MCCC and Lumpinou’s Sim Manage Info and the family free changed but they still could not interact romantically. I decided to create parents for my sim without and the game just made the spouses cousins. When I entered CAS to try and sort it out that way with cas.fulleditmode on, the adopted toddler was greyed out and I could not edit it.

I have same issues 😭
