Since the newest update I can only get onto the main menu screen, I can't even start a new household without the game crashing, I have no mods or cc or even reshade. I repaired the game and it didn't help. I'm also getting a Sims Delivery error code as well ( shown in photo) would love some help on this!

cocorosietilly wagicshop The Sims Delivery error is typically related to an overly-protective antivirus. So please check yours for any recent actions involving Sims 4, and set the necessary exceptions. If this doesn't help, or you don't see anything related to Sims 4, please let me know what antivirus you use.
TheSimReeper98 If you're getting the SDX error too, the same applies to you. Otherwise, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.
If you get another crash, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

Hi! I had the exact same issue & tried numerous processes with no luck, but finally I got it to work!
I’m unsure if this is just to do with the new update, but my Windows Defender (antivirus) was blocking the game from making folder changes.
On realtime protection, add the game as an exception (so it doesn’t see the game as a threat). I added all of the different TS4.exe files in the Game Bin & the EA App.exe files & wolah! I was able to play my game like normal.
Hopefully this works for you!

This worked for me! Since I recently reinstalled the sims 4 I'm guessing it was marked as a virus and I wasn't sure exactly which file I needed to mark safe so I did all the ones you mentioned and now my game loads properly!
