Hi, I’m having some issues playing the game as soon as I get to the main menu screen.
first, I get a notification in the corner about Sims Delivery Error 00000008 : 00000000000000 c8. When I go to the game options tab and navigate to the sims delivery option, there’s an option to resume download. Clicking this does not work and brings up the same error.
the main menu is also not showing my most recently played game / save/ sims. If I click resume game, it brings up the screen asking what season I’d like to play in, as if it were a new save. I click a season and then it gets to the select a world to move into screen. Clicking that shows household funds are 0 and there is no family selected at the bottom of the screen.
my game is up to date, and I have ran 2 repairs on it already. Last night I uninstalled it, reinstalled this morning, and still having the same issues. I do not have any mods or CC and did not have any prior to this issue. I am playing on windows on a laptop through the EA app.
