Same case here. I have been Go Offline since last year because of the referenced painting bug. I just Go Online again and update for the marketplace and the previous error should have been solved. And now I cannot save the game, error code 21 in the popup message.

I have no Mods. I have tried repair 'App Recovery' on EA, verify file integrity on Steam, deleted the cache files on Sims 4 folder, and restore the backup saved game. I still can't save the game. Please fix the error soon because I can't play at all if I can't save the game at all.
