pets freezing

if your pets are freezing in place or t-posing, this is often linked to pathfinding errors during dog walks, simulation lag or routing glitches in cats and dogs. 

reset the pet/sim va debug 

open the cheap console (ctrl + shift + c on pc/mac, or all four shoulder buttons on console

type testingcheats true, and press enter. 

hold shift and left-click the frozen pet 

then select reset object (debug) 

this usually snaps them right out of the freeze

• Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
• What platform are you playing on ?
• Is this pets in general or when you take them for a walk ?
