I'm trying the plant-a-sim quest for the first time, and my plant Sims (I tried with 2) don't have the option to absorb solar energy from plants. I've tried on many different plants at different time...

This also happened to me yesterday. I use a Steam Deck but have had no issues with Plant Sims previously. I was able to do the shift+click "make happy" cheat but it is frustrating that this seemed to appear after the new pack was released. I do not have the new pack.
