Plant Sim: No option to absorb solar energy

I'm trying the plant-a-sim quest for the first time, and my plant Sims (I tried with 2) don't have the option to absorb solar energy from plants. I've tried on many different plants at different time...

    Hey,

    Will this bug be sorted soon? It is driving me nuts ahaha! I do not have any mods.

      I’m having the same issue too- glad I’m not the only one. Hopefully this gets fixed because I’d hate to fail the scenario just because of a bug.
