I'm trying the plant-a-sim quest for the first time, and my plant Sims (I tried with 2) don't have the option to absorb solar energy from plants. I've tried on many different plants at different time...
Ideas
playing the scenario now, no option to absorb energy from plants, even though it's required to finish the scenario. i also dont have the enchanted by nature pack.
