My sims is randomizing a new outfit after showering. I can delete it in "plan an outfit" but it keeps making new outfits each shower.

Every now and again my sim's change into clothing I didn't get them. Literally a new outfit I have never seen that I now have to delete from their saved outfits. It is always on zoning somewhere...sometimes going out, sometimes when they come home from work (not their work outfit, just something random they are wearing instead) or from school. On one occasion it was accompanied by my sim suddenly looking like (but not being labeled as) an elder and I had to use a mod to reset the sim which popped him back to normal looking. It doesn't seem limited to any one sim or household, but I have one half alien that has lost all the clothing assigned to his non-disguised appearance in favor of the base "alien outfits" they come with by default twice now. Unfortunately I don't know how to trigger it to narrow it down, its just that sometimes they get new random outfits out of the blue. I don't recall having this issue until the most recent patches so I'm throwing it out there.
Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)
- are they actually created like this: Played Sim creates new outfits | EA Forums - 11879522 or are they just wearing them when you play other households ?
- Did you get any Sims through Cupid's Corner ?
I'm sorry, I missed your reply. For me:
- Yes I do use mods. It happens to households I am not actively playing so I don't see it happen right away and don't know how to trigger it. It has never happened to premades (aka the Goths), its only my played sims. Also, I play with story progression turned off so my expectation is no changes to them at all while I am away. I only had that weird issue with one appearing to be an elder that one time months ago so that is probably not related. AFAIK none of my mods are intended to affect CAS in any way.

They do not create an outfit, they are simply wearing things I never assigned that do not show up in their saved outfits at all. I see others mentioning changing clothes in CAS and it not taking, but that is not my issue. My problem is a played sim showing up wearing something new either when I see them out on the town or when I come back to play them. Both things happened again while I have been obsessed with my royals. In one case, a sim showed up as a random door knock visitor but had on clothes I had never seen before. I switched to that family and he was still wearing them but it was not one of his outfits nor was it different swatches of his own clothes. They were from regular cas vs costumes or uniforms but I didn't think to check the clothing category they came from, He should have been wearing his normal weather base outfit like the rest of the family had on though. This is the second time this same Sim has been found dressed wrong. In the other instance when I logged back into a family a sim was wearing one of the work uniforms that comes with jobs but he is and always has been unemployed (it is my ranching family and their farm is their only job). Again, it was not a selectable outfit, he was just wearing it out of the blue. In both cases I was able to have them change into their normal outfit without issue.
