Problems with my sims sleeping

This has only started to happen since the most recent update. For some reason, even when all my sims are sleeping, ultra speed isn’t working. I’ve checked all the usual things in game that sometimes prevents ultra speed, like other sims on your lot etc, but that doesn’t seem to be the issue. Also, when my sims sleep, their energy bar will only go up by 1 arrow, it doesn’t even go up by 2. I understand that ultra speed is when the bar goes up by 3 arrows, but it’s only going up by 1 and my sims are having to sleep for around 15 hours for a full energy bar. This is really annoying and I’ve tried all different things to fix it but it won’t work. (btw i have no mods or cc)
