Proud Parent: Adoption/Have Baby doesn't tick off

I have the same issue of the scenario not checking off things as completed that others have had YEARS ago. My sims adopted a BABY (not a toddler or child) and the goal is uncompleted. I saw locked posts with the same issue but I can’t find a solution. TBH this game is so money hungry I’m not surprised the game works so poorly. EA is too focused on selling us a new pack every month instead of making the game we already have, work. I keep taking breaks for months on end to come back for 5 minutes to find the game broken in some new horrible way. Maybe I finally learned my lesson. This game is trash and the only reason we ignore that fact is bc EA shoves a new shiny thing in our face to keep us distracted. Maybe I’ll just live my own life.

Proud Parent Scenario: Adoption/Have Baby doesn't tick off on completion/attempted with multiple families
I have now tried this scenario with more than one couple. My last couple gave birth to twins. One parent got the milestone for having a baby for each child. The parent that GAVE BIRTH to the twins only got the milestone for having a baby for ONE of the children. ??? The very first goal of have or adopt a partner will not check off. The first couple the goal of taking care of your baby kept counting up from 0/9 - 9/9 but actually having the baby? Nope. First couple were in Innisgreen, both Fae. Second couple in Sulani, birth mother Fae/second parent Spellcaster. *Will continue investigating with other combinations of occult parents and in different worlds to see if one eventually works. Will also try adoption like other user above.
