I am at the point in the quest line where my Sim must visit the Willow Creek Archive Library. I have done this several times but it won't register. I did have to replace the library back into Willow Creek as I had removed it, and wonder if this is part of the issue. I travelled to other libraries just to see if it would work, and it does not. Any ideas on how I can get the visit to trigger completion? Thank you.
Yep, same here. I hate when EA does these stupid updates for a stupid-looking new pack. This is typical EA garbage with updates. Break all my mods that make this game playable and fun. I am not going to update the game anymore will just play offline from now on.

Figured it out! Just had to complete this step in a new save, then could go back to my regular saves and continue on.
I don´t understand: how did you complete this step?
I have the same issue..
Save your current game and exit out of the game. Start a new game and go to the library. The step will complete. Exit out of the new game and load your saved game. You will be able to continue the quest.
