I don't know if this is a glitch or not, but it seems to be that "secret children" can only happen through playing as the female/pregnant sim, and there's no way to have a secret child when played as the male sim. I feels like this is something that should be able to be done by either parent, so I'm hoping it's just a glitch.

I have this problem again since the last update, it was fixed before that in a previous update but now it's not working again. I play a male sim who has a wife and 3 kids and he got another sim pregnant (Olive Specter) she is not his wife. I did not even get a popup that she had the child. So I had to recover a save file before the birth and play the Specter household till the baby was born so I could make it a secret child. Olive is my male sim's secret lover. I also had this problem in the 2 other save file that I played after the last update. Before the last update I would get a popup that made it possible to select the father when the female had the child.
My game is Mod and CC free, I have all packs and free marketplace stuff.
