Roofs (flat slab flooring) aren't lit correctly

Hello! I'm posting in this thread to report a lighting rendering bug that can occur on top of houses in The Sims, especially in houses that don’t have a roof on the upper part but instead have a flat slab with flooring. (I kindly ask you to pay attention to the in-game time). This issue is happening in both DX9 and DX11.

Basically, the roofs (the areas with only flooring) are not being lit correctly. Take a look at this example of a classic house in Willow Creek. It’s as if the top were a closed room where no light enters. This issue always happens when I reload the lot.

In the video I provide below, it's possible to see that the room isn't actually closed, but rather that the lighting is functioning incorrectly. I say this because, depending on the camera angle in the game, it's possible to observe, as time passes, 'wave shadows' moving on the roof. These shadows become faster or slower depending on the speed of the in-game time. The waves can get larger or smaller depending on the camera's angle.

I made a video below. The quality isn't very good, but if you pay attention, you can see these shadows moving across the roof. At one point, I even move the mouse cursor over them.

When entering Build Mode, the roof lighting returns to normal. The issue only happens again when I reload the lot.

I had already noticed this issue in one of the lots in Ciudad Enamorada as well. By the way, I think this problem started right around the time of the Lovestreck expansion's release.

Again, pay attention to the time of day. Depending on the hours, the location might have slightly brighter lighting, giving the impression that it's normal. However, when we enter Build Mode, the lighting corrects itself and everything becomes truly brighter, as it should be.

I also made a video of this lot, and if you notice, you can also see the dark shadows moving as time passes.

I tested the game without mods, and in a completely new save on both of these lots, and the issue still persists.

As I mentioned before, it happens in both DX9 and DX11.

I haven't searched for other lots that might have the same issue, but since it's a lighting issue, I imagine that lots with the same style, with floors on top instead of roofs, might present the same problem. This issue is only corrected by entering Build Mode, but unfortunately, it returns when reloading the lot.
