Did you send the folder to EA yet ?
Really not sure what's going on but to me sounds like an installation issue (there's a few similar reports for other kits)
I did. Hopefully they’ll be able to find the cause. At least the rest of the game is playable in the meantime :)
Is this happening on just one lot or have you tried on multiple lots? Sometimes specific Lots can cause quirky issues.
Is it happening with any other Kits or just the Restoration one?

First discovered the issue in an apartment in the city living world, then tested it in a new save in the base game desert world (I don’t remember what its called 😝) and then two other times I started a new save and tested it on a small lot in newcrest.
I can certainly send my save file. Do you want the entire folder or just the recent saves? I’m not actually even sure how to differentiate them because the files names are nonsense…
Could you zip up the whole Sims 4 folder and upload that?
The only other kit I own that has gameplay features is Kitchen Clutter, which seems to be working fine. I was able to use the lunchbox and the recipe book without issue in my test save.
