jliu670 What height are the walls? And have you tried changing the height to a taller wall?
If you like to have the lot tested, I am willing to do that. Just load the lot to the Gallery and reply here with the name of the lot and your userid if different than the one you use here (jliu670).
Hope this helps.

Hello,
Thank you for the help!
In the underground level, I use "short wall". After changing to "medium wall" or "tall wall", the ceiling remain exist.
For your testing, I have uploaded one lot to the Gallery. The name of the lot is "Sunken platform ceiling", the description of this lot is "This lot is used for testing the issue of sunken platform has a ceiling."
My ID is "JLIU670", you can directly download the testing lot from my ID profile.
If you look up from the bottom of the sunken platform, you will clearly see a "ceiling".
LOOK DOWN FROM ABOVE
LOOK UP FROM BELOW
Sincerely,
Daniel

jliu670 I downloaded your lot and took a look at it. The "ceiling" you are seeing over the ice rink is not really a ceiling. It is caused by the sunken platform and appears to be part of the ice rink. When I tested, the only place I got that "ceiling" is over the ice rink regardless of wall height. If you remove the sunken platform and use tall walls so the ice rink will fit into the space, then the "ceiling" you are getting goes away. You can also use mid-size walls, but you'll have to place the ice rink with MOO on. To get the same look you had with the stairs, you can use a raised platform under the stairs. I also tested this above ground and found that "ceiling" doesn't show there. So, I suspect the issue has something to do with the ice rink object not being designed for underground use or it's something about how platforms and basements interact. Either way, it's probably something the designers never expected a player to attempt.
Hope this helps.
