Since 'Adventure awaits' toddlers in the game are using umbrellas when it rains.
The umbrellas are the same size as those used by children and adults. But the toddler's arm always is distorted when using it:

Have you seen this in your game too? I wonder whether this is by design.

I don't know if this will help at all. So far this has been consistant in my game. I use the celebration station for many social events. That last 2 were birthday parties When ever we go and it is raining when we get there, most toddlers are on the hips of an adult and immediately "put down" autonomously. All toddlers will automatically start carrying an umbrella and all toddlers to stretch in the same way. I tried to do a birthday party at the celebration station again but It was storming so bad and the mom got struck by lightening but all 4 toddlers were stretched just like in the photo below. They were not commanded to do anything. And I didn't even know this was a bug that was being looked into - until now. I will try the birthday party again today - I will take screenshots and try to attached a LE. I will bookmark this page so I can find it easier.
