[SBCK] Back Plate of Toilet Does Not Hide In Wall

This is how it looks in game:

This is how it looks in the promotional arts, like if it was a toilet with built-in flush:

Even in the trailer made by the kit creator (Syboulette) the toilet looks different from how it is in game:

I know that a similar result can be achieved by using bb.moveobjects, but we should have objects that actually match how they're advertised without the need of cheats.

So by your logic, if I say "I prefer the MFPS blinds not translucent, so they shouldn't fix it", you're okay with that?

Yeah but now that’s out like that I prefer that version that was sold to me has that… I’m not agreeing on changing something that is sold to me a certain way just to fit the image promotion or unofficial trailer who could anyway have used move objects… now I’m gonna have to use it… not cool…

then if they really want to change something how it was supposed to be released, then they can work on the blinds from My first pet stuff who were supposed to be translucide according to the promotional images and that it can’t be done by moveobjects…

Because it can be fixed in two clicks and create the impression of working on bugs. It's not even a bug. Slide the toilet into the wall if you want. If not, leave the flush buttons outside. "UNDER INVESTIGATION". How important!

Knocking a model over a few inches is a trivial fix. Bug fixes are often achieved in order of simplest to most complicated, with a bit of most severe to least severe sprinkled in.

As this bug is the result of a model issue the modeling team would work on it, not the people solving functionality or tuning bugs. And since it's easy, and there are not really any critical modeling or texturing issues to worry about, it's a simple fix to give immediate attention to. Addressing it also doesn't mean it will be actually fixed immediately, just that it goes into the "We're aware and will get to it eventually" pile.

Why each time something useless like this “bug” get attention?

like I prefer the version we have right now.  Not a fan of toilet flush button emerging of any type of wall… each time I love something awww… loosing patience here sorry. Now i will have to use move object because some complains went through. Also, why not making the hamper usable instead that is much more important!! And solving pixelated textures issues on new and old releases EA…

    Hey all,

Thanks for flagging this issue, this is unintentional and has been confirmed as a bug by Maxis.

    Stay tuned for further info

  • yeah this one's pretty egregious, it has to have been intentionally moved into the wall to make those shots and the video. like you said, anyone can do that themselves, but it's not great to have the design outright obfuscated in promo stuff like that
