Is it possible something else is broken? A computer, an alarm, maybe even an appliance?
No. I thought of that and called a repairman to be sure as you can see in first pic. Second pic is the geek's sister and she is not a geek and she is crying over this stupid stereo. She does have the techie lifestyle. So it's narrowed down as far as I can go at this point I think.
