There was an old report for that as well.
I've temporarily fixed the issue by visiting the household using another household after the salary person work hours. My working sim wasn't there, but I invited her over for a stay over at which point I cheated and added her to my household. I was able to then switch back over to the correct household, invited her to move back in, and quit her career. I guess it doesn't fully get to the bottom of the issue, but at least I'm able to use my household again. I will probably be avoiding the salary person career from here on out! Thanks for your help!

Prevent to travel while a salary person is at work until EA can fix the issue.
