Same error/issue though I haven't pre-ordered the new pack. I was able to save something to the gallery yesterday...The third gen of my legacy just got married and I'm trying to back up everything before the pack comes out and breaks everything 😑

I’m also been having the same problem for a few days but haven’t preordered Businesses and Hobbies, and I’m unable to save lots to my library or upload lots to the gallery

I am also having this issue all of a sudden. I am a builder and put builds on my Patreon for download. I started experiencing this issue yesterday, but when I tried saving again, it saved. However, now I have a build finished and it will not save at all into my gallery for download. I get the server error statement. I definitely believe its the burglars. I am not unable to build to supply my Patreon members with builds due to this issue. I can; however, save dogs and everything else, just not builds.

this is happening to me as well. i dont know if i have reached capacity with my gallery? i have lots and lots of households, barely gotten 30% through them and have been trying to back them up so i can do a clean wipe before the new pack. this has only happened to me since the last update as well. i also wonder if maybe there are just a lot of people doing the same thing trying to back up their sims because its been said that the for rent exp corrupted saves and this pack has a similar function with the separated areas on a lot. i hope it gets fixed soon i am worried i will not be able to save my many sims families.

I realize some of you have tried some of this, but please try the rest and confirm that none of it works, OR let me know if something helps at least some of the time. I'd like to gather more information while flagging the issue to EA.
Please clear Windows temp files:
- Click Windows key-R, and a run box will appear in the lower-left corner of the screen.
- In the new window, type or copy & paste "%temp%" (without the quotes), and enter.
- Now your Windows Explorer should have brought you to the C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Local\Temp folder. Delete all files and folders inside.
- If some files or folders can't be deleted, restart your computer (a real restart, not sleep/wake or shut down/boot) and try again.
Please try uploading an almost-blank lot—just some walls and a piece of furniture—created in a new save. If this helps, try the same in an existing save.If that doesn't work, please test in a clean folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start another new save.
When you're done testing, you can trash the new folder and put back the old one to restore your saves and other user data.
Finally, please try playing in a new admin account on your computer. Make it local, as in, don't link it with your Microsoft account or any email address. Make sure the name contains only letters from the Roman alphabet and numbers (if you want), no accents, special characters, etc. You'll be able to launch Sims 4 without reinstalling anything, but your user data won't be available.
If none of this helps, please list your Gallery ID if it's different from your username here. Please also let me know whether you've uploaded an avatar to the EA App. And if there's a pattern to the lot types (residental rental, some type of community lot) that are affected, list that too.

Regarding my original post, I was unable to save that lot when mods were disabled as well. Some lots would save, others would not. Rooms always downloaded successfully with or without mods.
I "save-as" my game quite frequently post For Rent, so I deleted the save in which I was unable to upload lots to my gallery and opened a previous save of that same game (after clearing my cache files). Now, in this save file, I am able to save my lots. However, strangely enough, once or twice, the lot I'm trying to save seems to complete in that there is no error message, yet the lot doesn't appear in my gallery. That is certainly something I've never experienced before.
I have noticed that the lots with buildings that take up most of the available space and contain lots of furniture and clutter are the most problematic; i.e., a 20x30 triplex residential rental or a 64x64 restaurant lot that has multiple buildings, landscaping, water features like a large pond, etc. When I've been unable to save a big lot like that, I close the game without saving, clear the cache files, reload that save, and go into build mode to delete one of the buildings and some of the decor, clutter, and landscaping. Then the lot will usually save correctly.

My Gallery ID is the same as my username here: kimmie9850 . I do have a profile pic in the Gallery, if that’s what you mean? Its a blond sim with sunglasses

I’m also having this issue since the burglar patch. Disabled mods and repaired my game. My game is online. The gallery is opening and I can search, so it’s not a wifi issue. I tried even uploading an empty base game lot to my library, and it won’t work.
CottagecoreSimss Please try the suggestions a few posts above yours:
Server Error whenever I'm upload to my personal gallery | EA Forums - 11933528
And if none of it helps, please provide the info requested at the end of the thread.
