Sim doesn't interact with others and instead starts dancing

Same for me, they either dance or start browsing books.  This is a brand-new game, no saves. CCs  have been removed, game reinstalled, the issue persists.

First of all, since this issue started, all interactions appear broken:

• It takes longer for an interaction to work if they work at all; I have to click on a chair three times to get my sim to sit and often they just don't.
• Sometimes they'll start autonomously doing an action without the relevant object being visible, like playing guitar on an invisible guitar.
• Their queue gets randomly backed up because they'll autonomously "nap in treehouse" and it'll appear literally 8 times in the queue without them doing it.
• But sometimes, like when I choose the interaction "do homework" or "sleep" in bed, the corresponding icon will appear in the bottom left corner and the green circle will fill as if the sim is doing it, but the sim is actually...dancing. Just dancing. 

My game has never been this broken. It's impossible to use in live mode. No mods, no CC. I just bought Life & Death but don't see why that would do this. 

Update: now when I select "sleep" they don't dance but they don't go to bed either. They just stand there. The icon appears, the green circle fills, their sleep need fills, but the animation is just them standing there swinging their arms.

what platform are you playing on ? Is this a specific save ?

could you please post a video of for the dancing issue  ? I believe we already have a thread for this which is why I'm marking it as dupe for now.

hi im having this issue as well. i have tried plenty of things such as removing all my mods and cc and even disabling my packs nothing is fixing this, i can't run most social interactions they just do a dance together and their queue starts glitching out until they reset, i've found some social interactions do work but it's very few; my game is completely unplayable
