If you que up actions to grab leftovers or eat and then job, the sims will jog with the plate in their hands instead of eating and then jogging.

They do this when you want them to brush their teeth after too (near 100%). Or use the toilet (only sometimes).

I would also love to see sims not using their phone while jogging.
Same with mentoring someone through an objects (Mirror, Easel, etc)
True! Just doesn't make any sense!
Sim was holding a plate while jogging, then before going to work he put the plate in the air, and then the plate disappeared.
I've merged your post with the thread for Sims eating while going jogging.
The plate probable was just cleaned up by the game as it was in an invalid position so I wouldn't worry about that.
