My sim all of a sudden is a widow to a Sim she had no prior relationship with while married to a different Sim?! I play only on PC and don't use any MODs. This is the weirdest in a long line of bugs in my game.

is that Sim who died an actual Sim in your game or did she just get that random milestone while you played ?
Did you create the Sim from scratch or download from the gallery ?
I created my sim from scratch and the sim that died i assume was populated by the game. My sim never even had a relationship with them before they died
