After today's patch, infants are very difficult to keep in their cribs. Sims are constantly picking them up just to put them back on the ground. Also, while infants are lying in the crib, the game doesn't think they're in the crib; it does not allow them to go to sleep on their own without having to be taken out and put back in by an adult.
Yesterday it worked pretty good, for me at least.
