I have a sim that ages up to an Elder for a moment, but then reverts back to starting over as a Young Adult. When I go to CAS, he is an Elder, but in Live Mode, he's a Young Adult.
I think I met him through Cupid's Corner, but can't remember. This post on Facebook is the only other place I've seen someone report this.
