After the update none of the cooking interactions with the fridge or stove will work. When I click on them it's like the command doesn't even register. It wont move the command to the que and my sim just stands there. I'm not getting any errors or anything it just doesn't register the command at all.

I noticed this the other day and the only work around is to order for delivery and get the ingredients then you can cook. Its a pain the the butt

I currently have the same problem.
It started as my sim moved from the counter to the stove. He performed the "blocked pathway" animation and placed the uncooked bowl down. He wasn't able to finish cooking since then. Starting a new dish doesn't work either. He will just perform the "blocked pathway" animation. All actions related to cooking result in that.
Things I tried:
- Renew and remodel the kitchen
- Reset the objects
- Reset the sim
- Take out all mods
The game does not lag or crash when I order them to cook.
Eating from dishes that are not in the fridge works.
Feeding pets (including the crow from LD) results in the same blocked path animation.

Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox) - Is it just happening in one household or all of them ?
- Did you try replace the oven or check if there's something already in it ?
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.

Sim won’t cook at all. I have the fairy expansion pack and have tried even to return to non fairy form. I have moved the counter tops and stove outside, moved all the clutter and removed all lights and even cabinets. It still keeps pointing to the counters or saying that it can’t reach the stove.

No matter what I try, debugging, rearranging, selling and repurchasing, saving and restarting the game, I have done everything and can not use my stove, fridge, microwave, kitchen sink or anything. I'm trying to make a cake for my kids birthday and am unable to use my kitchen. I have two adults in the house and a toddler, the adults don't have hunger bars, only my toddler does. Nothing I try reenables their hunger bars, they're just gone and I can't cook.
